Are the paths laid out with flowers

Are they decked with spots of gold

Is it a banquet of abundance

with chalice of gold

Are our loved ones standing by you

Are they laughing with you there

As they watch you smiling down on us and teasing us from up there



It's your birthday, darling Desmond

We remember and we wish we were there

To join in the pomp and the splendour

of the celebrations there



Happy Birthday darling Desmond from each of us here. We love you and we miss you and we'll celebrate you here.

Dearest Stanis,
A beautiful poem that can only come from a beautiful heart. Desmond will be so proud of you and so are we all. We miss him so much and this poem will surely show our dearest Des how much we love him and wish we could be there with him. But your poem paints such a beautiful picture of how Desmond's birthday celebration will be like, that we take comfort in the fact that he will have a party organised by the best, The Maker himself.
Darling Desmond, happy Birthday from all of us here who miss you terribly and just want to be with you.
Stanis, you are very talented. You dont have to prove anything to anyone. Words like this can only come from a pure heart and for those of us who cannot express ourselves like this , you are a blessing.

 Desmond's Birthday Celebration

This poem is a wonderful birthday tribute for our Darling Desmond. Written with love just as we feel and from the heart of his beloved sister, Shoba as he fondly calls you.
This poem is just another add-on for his grand birthday celebration and i am sure it will be by his side and he will cherish it.
