A Dozen Roses - Visitor's Poem

I gave rose one to you so red.
As my heart cries out for prayer.
With the love in my heart I have for you,
will you accept it please say yes.
I know you've done your best.
I gave rose two for I love you.
Take it to your heart, give it care.
When I open my eyes I will see you standing there.
I gave rose three for the love you've given me.
From deep within your heart.
You know I think about you all the time.
We shall never part.
For your memories will always be deep within my heart.
I gave rose four for I remember the times you walk through my door.
Then you would show me one of your big, big smiles.
I hope some how I've made you proud.
I gave rose five for I remember the times I've seen you cry.
And all the times you said I love you.
I gave rose six when you got very sick.
Life sometimes my friends is filled with dirty tricks.
I gave rose seven for there is a Heaven.
With happiness all around.
There's no more pain now to get you down.
I gave rose eight with all my love.
The many blessings from above.
I gave rose nine you're still always on my mind.
You'll forever be in my heart until the end of time.
I gave rose ten for when we shall meet again.
For death is a battle no one can win.
I gave rose eleven remember there is a Heaven.
Just like rose numbered seven.
I gave rose twelve for now I know you're well.
My dozen of roses are now complete.
You're healed in Heaven now with God and Family.
You'll forever be in my heart until the day I die,
we shall never part.
Forever I'll hold you close in my heart.
