A Prayer for My Friend - Visitor's Poem

I have been praying for you today
That peace and love will come your way;
I know your life is all but perfect
But no life on earth is I suspect.

Never let troubles weigh you down
Never live a day showing only a frown;
Show the world you refuse to quit
And resolve each worry bit by bit.

I know you and I know how you feel
Never delay to talk with me, nor your troubles conceal;
I am always here to help you, I am your friend
To see you smile, to hear you laugh - this is what I intend.

Life is as a rope and I know you have been tugged
But that is why I am here, so you know you've been hugged;
All this is my prayer for you, Denise
That one day you may live every hour in peace.
