A Tribute to a Blessed Leader - Visitor's Poem
by Pranitha Devi Wickins
(Pietermaritzburg; kwazulu Natal, South Africa)
God taught South Africa Through lessons lived and learnt, God taught South Africa From regrets and respect earned
The lessons that we learnt From our sad and dismal past Is that man was made as equals and I pray the truth will last
The laws are now adjusted And though chaos could have reigned Courage and love was mustered By our, then, president ordained
Tata Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela Godâs blessed us with your love You unselfishness and humility, Your wisdom from above
And though retribution could have been The order of the day You put aside your wounded pride And paved a righteous way
God has blessed us O South Africa All our people and our land God has blessed us O South Africa With our mentor who took a stand. May God Bless you always Tata
