In the darkness
Of night
A soul sheds
Silent tears
A heart grieving
For what has been lost
Struggling to cope
With a life
Now filled
With constant pain
An Angel appears
Quietly he sits
By her side
Gently he folds
His wings around her
Shielding her
Giving her warmth
And
Comfort
He whispers words
Of
Love
Encouragement
Compassion
And
Blessings
His words
Washing over her
Like a healing balm
She looks up
At this beautiful
Radiant being
And with a smile
She says
'Thank you
So much
For giving me hope'
