Baby Boy - Visitor's Poem

Sun rose over the mountaintops at morn
A brand new baby boy was born
Born at a great cost
For his mother's life was lost
A husband and father had a choice to make
To have the baby or not his wife's life at stake

Sun rose over the mountaintops at morn
A brand new baby boy was born
Born with wide smile across his face
Mother proud and happy as she leaves this place
Baby boy has mother's smile and eyes
Father needs time to heal and every day he tries

Sun rose over the mountaintops at morn
A brand new baby boy was born
Baby boy is now father's new life
He loves him just as much if not more than his wife
Father will never let baby boy forget
How much mother loved so that he would be set

Sun rose over the mountaintops at morn
Baby boy's brand new baby was born
Father now grandfather and proud to be
Mother now grandmother looks down from heaven
and lets them know it's only them she can see.
