Beautiful Girl - Visitor's Poem

by Abed Masinga
(Somerset Village, South Africa)

Abed Masinga

Abed Masinga

Thinking about beautiful girl
I'm sitting on terminal pillar
Breathing in fragrance of golden maize corn
Without knowing exactly the compass to glance

See you coming from the western part of the corn field
Galloping as a lioness after feast
Stretching your arms to touch blade of fresh corn
With gentle breeze blowing your long hair

You walk as if you're dancing the old Indian warrior song
Your foot steps beat as drums within my heart
Vivid face poses with wild flower gestures
With sun refracting on your face

Hammering the song as you're coming
Galloping as a Sudanese gazelle
With your breasts standing like Kudu Horns
You're bold like two Mongolian pagodas
Sonho da menina bonita

Wow

Aah Abed, this is so beautiful when reading it, I felt the essence of womanhood evoked within me... You are good man dear... I like the way you used the surroundings to describe her. Magical!
