Change - Visitor's Poem

Young today, grey hairs tomorrow
Great big smiles soon turn to sorrow
Wining today you’ve wiped them all clean
2 more hand you down to the green
King of your world with your rubies and sapphires
But soon your royalty will have to retire
Sun beaming through cloudless blue skies
But the clouds soon swarm round like a dozen black flies
Silent and dreaming
Soon sweating and screaming
Laughing and playing
Soon crying and praying
Running and jumping
Soon falling and thumping
Change is happening all around
Anywhere you look change can be found
But it's dealing with this that we all can't handle
When something changes we think it’s a scandal
We weren’t expecting for it to go away
Why couldn’t the pleasure, the ecstasy stay
But now it's gone we want it more
And we’ll keep on trying till we fall to the floor
But this feeling is natural it won't go away
Man's constant desire to be truly happy
So the best thing to do is accept this change
And don’t look upon it as if it were strange
Just pass it by and ignore all the strife
For life is too short not to live life
