Heart and Mind - Visitor's Love Poem

My heart longs to be near you,
My mind makes me fear you.
My heart wants to dance with yours,
My mind fears the new floor.
I've never felt scared of you this way,
I pray it will go away.
I've found love never leaves the heart,
or dies because we are apart.
The mind cannot kill it,
because it is the heart that feels it.
