You broke my heart, ignored me,
cheated on me repeatedly,
abused me emotionally and physically.
Embarrassed me in front of your friends,
called me names, made me feel the way I felt today...
Insecure, alone, unattractive, unloved,
but still managed to love you and smile
regardless of how I feel,
Days have gone by, we've broken up,
I've picked up the pieces of my heart.
I'm ready, I'm convinced, and ready for the world.
Love isn't this, I'm beautiful, smart, caring,
and I will be a wife to someone.
Someone greater than you.
