I Saw a Little Girl Today - Visitor's Poem

I went to a homeless shelter today, and saw this little girl at the door far away … her hair tangled ... face little mangled this little girl cannot be hurt anymore .... With all her broken bones especially her broken nose ... she waved at me. I dropped to my knees and prayed: Dear God, take her pain away. God said, "Look deep child, tell me what you see?" MY GOD THAT LITTLE GIRL WAS ME. God said, "I have released you. Go child, for I erased your pain today ... just don’t forget to pray."
