In The Nature's Heart - Visitor's Poem
by Nitika Bharti
(New Delhi, Delhi, India)
Evening is the time, it's been a bad day, surely I am sulking in a park sitting all alone, degenerated suddenly though no one around I feel I have everybody to be with: it's the birds, the trees, the insects, no one to play, my heart flies away with the birds, nothing to say, I sing along with the tiny creatures.
The park looks greener than ever now, not just green, but lively, full of vibrance. Some leaves though brown, some half but still striving to survive. Some brown grass patches but carefully hidden by the greener ones.
With every falling leaf now, I see it as not dead but make way for the new. Consciously, I look around and above the sky looks pleasant I find everyone: the leaves, the grass, the flowers & the clouds smiling away at me as if urging me telling me tomorrow we may not be but the system goes on, so why don't you?
The next gush of wind sweeps energy into me I stand, reluctant I walk, confident strides now fuller height more taller I walk towards destiny to be the best as I can be.
