Manju's Inspirational Book Review of The Courage to Succeed
by Manju
I had no idea who exactly the author of this book was before I started reading this book. And it blew my mind when I read it, how he came up in life and what he had to go through to be where he is today.
The author is none other than Ruben Gonzalez who is a Olympic player and Olympic speaker. You might want to read this book in detail to know the kind of sport he played. He really talks about how badly he chased after his dream.
One of my favourite phrases in his book is this, "When life seems to be lacking purpose, many people fill their days with diversions to distract them from watching too much TV, spending too much time aimlessly surfing the net, or drinking too much are simply modern anesthesia to dull the pain". He goes on to explain what could be done about that. You have to read that book to know what he says.
In one chapter he explains, how to think like a champion. This chapter was awesome, as I was personally able to see in what kind of category I was in life. I learned soo much from this book and I felt as if Ruben was sitting next to me explaining his success. He tells in his book, what he did, what others do, what others should do and how to have the courage to succeed.
