My Promise - Visitor's Poem

I can't promise you I'll make the tears stop.
I can't promise you I'll have the answers.
I can't promise you there won't be problems.
I can't promise you it will never rain,
and I can't promise you your heart will never be broken.
But I CAN promise you that I'll wipe your tears away;
that I'll look for the answers with you.
I can promise you I won't let you face your problems alone,
and I promise I'll be there to hold the umbrella for you when it rains.
And when your heart gets broken...
I'll be there once again... to pick up every piece.
