Is anyone there
to hear me cry?
I just hated the thought
of saying goodbye.
As I look around and
you're not here,
I wonder why,
And I just remember
you're in heaven
way above the sky,
And I will never forget
your loving face,
I will never forget
your warm embrace
Please come home
so we can talk
again face to face,
There was a saying
you taught I thought
was quite clever,
"Friends come and go
but families last forever."
