Prodigy - Visitor's Poem

I am the creation of two strong men in my life.
The first gave me the courage to walk away with no remorse.
The second showed me how to be tough through day and night.
I will take their influence through life's course.

The influence of each has no compare.
The differences of each are great.
The similarities of their minds could scare
Even me for I am the one who was designed into this fate.

They are strong, determined with a hint of love,
They molded my soul into this present being.
I was not treated with kid glove.
No clue had I of the path for me they were seeing.

I know my path now and it is right.
Each man has given me the ultimate gift,
They are my soulmates for life.
Even a mighty ocean wave can cause a rift.

Because of their influences in my life,
I am determined, strong, passionate and caring
Each man shows his own guiding light,
To illuminate my path, but never sharing.
