Stolen - Visitor's Love Poem

I still battle with these emotions and these thoughts of you
I know within my heart that this will never be true.
Fate has its ways of pulling us apart,
yet circumstances draw us near
It seems that coming face to face with you is something I now fear.
Not knowing what went wrong or where you lost your way,
I lose the urge to call you now and I have nothing left to say.
But still you come to mind, and I begin to lose all control
It seems that you have a permanent place here inside my soul.
Others seem to pass my time but it's you who has stolen my heart
How are you the one who also tears it right apart?
Somehow I’ll let go of this and carry on my way
I’ll be with that man who loves me each and every day
You’ll come to learn I love you, it will be a little to late then
But who am I to say? You’ll just steal my heart once again.
