The Braveheart - Visitor's Poem
by Nitika Bharti
(New Delhi, Delhi, India)
Faced yet another manic day Wishing to keep it at bay. Again the eyes were moist, As he was not comfortably poised. But the braveheart moved on......
The first half of the day, peaceful to the brim, But in the second half he could not swim. The same unmindful affliction Dawned upon him & drove him to neglection. But the braveheart had to move on......
Better be devoid of what one deserves, Than to possess what one doesn't. And that's what causing the burns Still he bore the mordant. And the braveheart moved on........
While struggling in life's ambiguity, 'Shelley' gave the sign of positivity. "If winter comes can spring be far behind" And the streaks of hope shone bright. So the braveheart had something to move on......
"Coleridge's" display of ambivalence However drowned the hopes of balance. And He akin the mariners, Was lost in the trailers. So where is now the braveheart to move on?
Frantic searches were made, In every nook without a fail. But He was not to be found, As He was not treated on common grounds. The braveheart is still anonymous......
Soon the furore died Without a mourning of His might But to whom He was precious, Was searching even the vicious. And the search goes on.........
