The Day I Will Never Forget - Visitor's Story

One day I will never forget is when I saw a shooting star. This night was very memorable because God answered my prayer that night, our connection grew deeper, and my hope was restored.

Shooting stars are an inside thing with God and myself. Every night I go outside and ask God to show me one. This particular night all my hope was in God and my faith was unshakable.

After seeing this shooting star, I felt a deeper connection with this Higher Power. I felt as though everything was okay, and I was surrounded by love! My heart was beating fast and then slow. It was so much joy and excitement, I felt like I was on a cloud. I knew at that moment that God does hear my prayers and even the little things I ask for, he will give me. As long as my motives are in the right place and my faith is all in him. It was a beautiful summer night, warm but with a cool breeze that made the trees sway from side to side dancing in the moonlight with a starlit sky.

I call these moments, "God winks."

Everyday God's presence affects everyone differently.

Mine was a shooting star, on other days it could be the raindrops on my car window, or a butterfly landing on the hand.

God is everywhere, you just have to take the time to realize the true beauty in things.
