The Way You Think About Things

I like the way you think about things,
As it always seem to engage me in ways I did not think possible.

The way you think about things sometimes delights me,
Like how you came up with a creative method to commit to memory
the world map in a way that never crossed my mind before.

The way you think about things sometimes frustrates me,
Like how you enjoy borrowing many books on diverse subjects
and ended up only reading a tiny fraction of them.

The way you think about things sometimes excites me,
Like how you generate business ideas and visions
that yield great potential and possibilities and
make me think that you are a genius.

The way you think about things sometimes bothers me
Like how you tend to classify people as rich and poor
and drive me nuts with your intense desire to compete and win.

The way you think about things sometimes baffles me,
Like how you bought several pieces of musical instruments
thinking you can learn to play them all at the same time.

The way you think about things sometimes amuses me,
Like how you are curious about things and searched the movie database
for trivia on movies and celebrities that I never gave a thought to.

The way you think about things sometimes irks me,
Like how you chose to rush to perform last minute miracles
believing that you can do it all and ended up sending us both into panic.

The way you think about things sometimes amazes me,
Like how you sound as if you know exactly what you are doing
and how certain you are that things will work out between you and me.

Best of all,
Your thinking stimulates and interests me,
As it engages both my heart and my mind,
And my dear sweet love,
I continue to look forward to being engaged by you.
