This Masterpiece - Visitor's Love Poem

by Matthew John Mortimore-Webber
(Teignmouth, Devon, England)

Matthew John Mortimore-Webber

I lay awake, I can't sleep, at the prospect of this master piece. Tracing her body with my finger tips, attention to detail shading with my lips, she's intricate and flawless, her diamond eyes are priceless, kissing every inch of you, I lay awake and enjoy the view.

I'm in ore, lack of sleep, the kind of love Shakespeare's books could never teach. If parting is such sweet sorrow, I will say goodbye until tomorrow comes, my finger tips are pencils, and your body is my stencil, I am a modern Michelangelo, and you are my sistine chapel.
