This Place
by Destinee Easley
(Jackson, Tennessee, USA)
The ocean is a strange, mysterious place with beaches that stretch across every pace Waves crash upon the sand as forming beaches made for man The surf is high and every eye is upon the man who stands with the waves he waits then perfectly ascends until the beach lures him back in Waves carve the rocks with their iron hands, eroding the surface of the land As I sit and watch the wave trains roll in I wonder every place they've been Storms roll in but I don't fear for I now know their purpose here; To mold and carve this vast expanse of shoreline As I sit here ever so still I truly know God's golden will; to touch every place upon this land so that we may be aware of his all-knowing plan
