Time To Come Together - Visitor's Poem

Doesn't everyone want freedom?
Freedom from want, freedom from fear,
freedom to love those who are near.
Freedom to work, freedom to give,
freedom to help and let others live.
If we want these freedoms and control of our life
shouldn’t we minimize suffering and strife?
Why not try harder to learn from each other
so that freedom will exist for everyone’s brother?
Like the golden rule I learned in school.
But: remember this:
You may be best, but if you know a fool
it serves you well not to treat him like a tool.
