To Have or Not To Have - Visitor's Love Poem

If you have a deep feeling for someone
Whom you know will not reciprocate
Will you still pursue this feeling
Even though it is just futile to do so?

Some will say you go ahead and say
Whatever is inside of you
To the lady whom you have that feeling
At least you have done something for you!

But others will tell you
Just back off and say nothing
For it will only bring you more heartache
Knowing she does not have anything for you!

How about yourself?
What will you do?
If you have this problem
Lingering inside of you?

Do you continue
Pursuing someone who got no feeling for you?
Or not to have the feeling grow
For it will just kill you!

Now, if you are going to ask me
If ever I’ll be in your shoes
To have or not to have?
Sorry, that’s my predicament, too!
