Wherever You Go - Visitor's Poem

Wherever you go stay by my side,
whatever you do be there to guide.
Don't let me fall or fail or quit,
help me deal bit by bit.
Wherever you go keep me in your heart,
don't separate me don't make us part.
If you leave just remember that I'll stay
by your side not only to help you but also to hide.
In the back of your mind you will always know true
that from day one it was just me and you.
Remember when you walk away that
you always may come back because
you make up all the things in my life I lack.
My hope for you is when you walk away
you realize you're wrong
and decide to stay.
You hurt me once but I will never forget
the only thing that you regret.
Because loving you was no mistake
but waiting for you is
a chance I will take.
