I Am No More - Visitor's Poem

by Aimee Fenech
(Isle of Man)

I am no more than a little breeze on a summer day
I am no more than a stranded leaf under one of many trees
I am no more than a drop of sweat on the earth’s brow
I am no more than the a hair on a mane of a wild horse
I am no more than the tiny speck of rich red soil
Do not think of me as insignificant
For even the tiniest speck
The faintest of breezes
The one of many
I am
No more
No less
Than
You
