I Hate That Pig - Visitor's Funny Poem

by Richard John Scarr
(Brighton, East Sussex, England )

I was taking a pig to market.
And I stopped at the Frog and Toad.
And while I went inside for a drink,
the pig lay down in the road.

And having had a skin full.
I climbed on the table to jig.
And the Landlord promptly threw me out.
And I landed in the road with the pig.

And when a woman who chanced to be passing.
Was distainfully heard to say.
"You judge someone's character by the company they keep."
The pig got up, and quickly walked away!
