If Only They Knew - Visitor's Poem

If Only They Knew - Visitor's Poem

by Aryn Nantau
(Windsor, Ontario, Canada)

He smiles through the pain and holds himself up.
He walks through the darkness and keeps his head held high.
He is alone, and damage has been done.
He is hurting, but he goes on.
He is weak but remains strong.
He is judged but I see his greatness.
He is grieving but healing all at once.
He is beautiful, if only the world could see what I do.
