In The Darkest Night - Visitor's Love Poem

by Timothy Baumann
(Brisbane, Australia)

In the darkest night,
When the sky turns gray.
I can count on you,
To brighten up my day.
You don't need to talk to me,
But I love it when you do.
The only thing I'll ever need,
Is the lovely thought of you.
And of all these thoughts,
There is an endless stream.
From when I first met you,
To when I had seen;
That not only do I love thee,
That I know is true;
But what thrilled me the most,
Is that you might love me too.
So when I'm falling down,
Or worried or sick or blue;
I just think of the one I love,
And that of course is you.
