On A Night oF a Thousand Stars - Visitor's Love Poem
by Michaelane Que Jimenez
(Zamboanga, Philippines)
It was the night Of solemn beauty A night that speaks Of love remembered in time?
A thousand light shone up Like it never did before But only a glimpse sparks And it dims them all
On a night of a thousand stars She came Alas! A light to conquer all At last! A love is borne With their caresses Soft kisses and tender moments There was nothing but love A love that was yet forbidden
So like the night of a thousand stars Which comes but once Their love rose up only to fall Shattered as if there was none
Now a lonely lover Lies in wait for that night For one final time Hoping, praying for one last moment
But never again For true love only exist But once and only once in A night of a thousand stars
